Energica Enters the UAE with Wheels of Arabia

Wheels of Arabia and Energica signed a commercial agreement, giving the dealership exclusive rights to retail the Italian electric motorcycles in the UAE.

Enthusiasts of silent, fast motorcycles across the UAE can now rejoice, for Energica is here. Featuring electric power and stupendous performance, Energica bikes have been steadily gaining popularity across the world. And now they have set up shop in the UAE as well!

UAE now gets access to premium electric motorcycles, proudly made in Modena, Italy.

Wheels of Arabia is dedicated to providing customers with great experiences on two wheels. It deals in motorcycles, scooters, accessories, spares & service, riding gear, and merchandise. Some of the world’s most renowned brands including Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Aprilia, Vespa, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, MV Agusta, Gilera, etc share the same roof at Wheels of Arabia. And now, so does Energica Motor Company.

For the uninitiated, all motorcycles on the grid of the FIM MotoE championship are supplied by Energica. The Italian firm made its debut last year to good response. Despite being hit by a tragedy in which all 18 bikes burned down at the MotoE paddock in Jerez in March 2019, the Italian firm rose to the occasion and made new bikes available within a very short period of time. 18 bikes were back on the Valencia track for testing followed by the inaugural race at Saschenring, Germany in July 2019.

The Energica Ego Corsa, which is the backbone of FIM MotoE.

Energica began operations with the Ego superbike followed by the Ego+. It subsequently added the Eva Ribelle, a menacing streetfighter to its lineup followed by the Eva EsseEsse9, a neo-retro electric bike based on the Eva Ribelle.

The UAE has an ambitious goal to boost its EV market in the next 20 years.
