In the 1960s, far from civilisation and regular roads, stripped down desert bikes based on Triumph twins and fitted with high level exhausts, dirt bike tyres and suspension were being used for hard recreational fun and competition on tough terrain.
The 2017 Triumph Scrambler is powered by a 865-cc Twin, four-stroke engine that produces 59bhp and 68Nm of torque through a 5-Speed transmission.
The Scrambler has a fuel tank capacity of 16 litres. It weighs 506kg (dry). In addition to this, the bike also comes with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).
