Hero Mavrick 440. More than just a re-badged Harley Davidson X440!

Hero MotoCorp, India’s leading manufacturer of two-wheelers, has introduced its latest flagship model, the Mavrick 440. Developed in collaboration with Harley-Davidson, this motorcycle is a derivative of the X440 roadster, marking Hero’s entry into the premium 400cc+ segment. Upon its release, the Mavrick will enter into competition with established players like the Triumph Speed 400 and its counterpart, the Harley-Davidson X440.

Hero Mavrick Design and Features:

The Mavrick 440 boasts a distinctive design featuring a circular headlamp equipped with an H-shaped LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) and LED turn signals. Notable design elements include a robustly styled fuel tank, a flat handlebar, a unified seat, and a compact front fender. Enhancing its retro-modern appeal are the rounded bar-end mirrors.

Hero Mavrick Engine and Performance:

Powered by the same 440 cc BS6 Phase 2 engine found in the Harley Davidson X440, the Mavrick 440 promises commendable performance. Paired with a six-speed gearbox, it ensures smooth highway cruising capabilities. Despite offering identical power output of 27 bp, the Mavrick delivers slightly lower torque at 36Nm@4000 rpm.

Hero Mavrick Price and Availability:

The Mavrick 440 will be available in three variants: base, mid, and top. The base model will come in a classic white hue with traditional spoked wheels. The mid-tier variant will offer alloy wheels and will be available in two color options. The top-tier variant will feature Bluetooth connectivity and diamond-cut alloy wheels.

While the pricing details are yet to be disclosed, pre-bookings are set to commence in February, with deliveries slated to begin in April 2024. Customers can purchase the Mavrick through Hero’s Premia dealerships.
