The name Desert Sled refers to standard motorcycles over 500 cc that were modified by riders for use in the Californian desert with knobby tyres, reinforced suspensions, spoked wheels and engine protection plates to protect the bike against the debris of impassable desert roads.
The 2017 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is powered by a 803-cc V2, four-stroke engine that produces 73bhp and 67Nm of torque through a 6-speed transmission.
